Starting to try to represent things that surround you, is alwasy the best way to learn to draw.
It’s quite simple the best drawing artist spend hours drawing they surroundings. Testing and trying new way and style.
But beware that practice alone can cause confusion without proper art education, or basic art history knowledge.
This last point matter if you want to exchange with artists and people with visual art background cause they tends to know how to catogorize visual art in genre or style. And if you don’t have a basic understanding of the art history, you can quickly be seen as someone who don’t exactly know what is it doing.
But be insured that as a hobby or for leasure, drawing don’t demand to know by heart all the art masters.
